Could be calkins gold. Just like painted lady but without the pink stems

I don’t disagree with you! I’m not a pro with identifying. I was going off of this description from a nursery

Oh interesting! I haven’t grown a calkin’s gold myself, so I didn’t know about the differences in growth pattern and node spacing. It must become more apparent as the plants mature. Now that I think about it, even my painted lady didn’t really have pendant leaves and long nodes until it got big enough for a pole. Now those are its defining features! But yeah, those are really good next-level identification points for plants that are difficult for less experienced collectors to tell apart! Have you seen a philodendron orange marmalade yet? They started popping up at my local plant stores who stay on top of trends. The marmalades have the same colors and mottled variegation as the painted lady, but they seem to have the rosette growth pattern of prince of orange. I’ve only seen them at starter sizes so far though. I can’t wait to see one grown to maturity so I can compare. I’d do it myself if I had any room left for new plants 🤣 Someday I’ll have a botanical conservatory, I swear! Lol
