What kind of tree is this? In Eastern US, I think itâs âEastern red cedarâ but want to ask around so I know for sure. Found it in a corner of the yard, transplanted it and gave it more water, now itâs getting a green color towards the bottom so it mightâve been dry.
It looks like an Eastern Red/common juniper. Itâs doable but also takes lot of patience. They take a long time to rehabilitate.

1 gilla Both but maybe in the following season will you see better results with the foliage. Try not to prune back too much just the obvious crispy ones,
2 gillningar So I had to circle back around to this. I was trying to answer you earlier while grooming my dog. After that I was encouraged by your post to go prune the winter damage off my juniper. I have a bunch to work on đ Anyway, Iâm interested to see how it goes for you. Good luck with your tree and Iâm sure in time youâll have a nice specimen.
