Hi! Just introducing my new babies in my new home. Nervous this go round as I’ve struggled with over watering in the past but I’m excited.

    Get some wooden skewers, nothing fancy. I get like a 100 pack from the dollar store. When your heart is telling you to water, stick one of those to the bottom of the soil, leave it for a minute or so, then pull it out. Dirt will stick to the skewer at the level of moisture. Giving you a good visual as to if your plant needs water or not. It also fills the “itch” of tending to your plants :)

    I always use planta’s watering suggestion as a reminder to check if I need to water them and not necessarily the end all be all.
