Does anyone know what this plant is? It’s dying and I can’t find any info on how to save it without its name unfortunately! Thanks all ❤️

Looks like it was a parlor palm. Palms are finicky houseplants they need enough but not too much light and level humidity. If you’re looking to save it I’d chop it back keep it moist and hope for new growth. Looks like it needs a brighter location too.

The plant in the image appears to be a type of **palm**, likely a **Kentia Palm** or **Areca Palm**, which are popular indoor palms. The browning and drooping leaves indicate that the plant may be under stress. To help this palm thrive, here are some steps you can take: ### 1. **Light**: - **Bright, Indirect Light**: Palms generally prefer bright, indirect light. If it's not getting enough light, the leaves may yellow or brown. Move the plant closer to a window where it can get indirect sunlight, but avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. ### 2. **Watering**: - **Water Consistently**: Palms prefer consistently moist soil but not soggy. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from sitting in the bottom, which can cause root rot. - **Avoid Overwatering**: Overwatering can lead to brown tips on the leaves and root problems. Be cautious not to water too frequently. ### 3. **Humidity**: - **Increase Humidity**: Palms thrive in humid environments. If the air is dry, especially indoors, mist the leaves regularly, use a humidity tray, or place a humidifier nearby to increase the moisture in the air. ### 4. **Pruning**: - **Remove Dead or Dying Leaves**: Trim off any fully browned leaves to encourage the plant to focus its energy on new growth. Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears to make the cuts. ### 5. **Fertilizing**: - **Feed Monthly**: During the growing season (spring and summer), feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month. Avoid fertilizing during the winter months when the plant's growth slows down. ### 6. **Soil**: - **Use Well-Draining Soil**: Ensure the palm is planted in a well-draining potting mix. You can add sand or perlite to regular potting soil to improve drainage. ### 7. **Repotting**: - **Check if Root Bound**: If the plant is root-bound (meaning the roots have outgrown the pot), it may need to be repotted into a slightly larger container with fresh soil. Do this in the spring or early summer when the plant is actively growing. By following these tips and making sure the plant has the right environment, the palm should start to recover and thrive over time!
