So I'm not to sure, but I believe this is a golden sedum succulent. But it's not orange and it's huge!!! I've never seen one this big, so does anyone know what else it could be?

    Sedum golden, sedum adolphi, these types of sedums are all very similar and require same care. They need very gritty soil, dry soil between waterings, and very strong light. Yours is etoliated because of low light. Sorry, but this is not the normal look. The pic is of my sedum firestorm. Very similar. The small one is a cutting just beginning to color up. The color happens with an abundance of light. In my case, it’s very strong grow lights. You can’t get the color indoors without grow lights.

      I guess you couldn't tell but it does have a grow light over top of it, I moved it higher to take the picture. I've had it under the light for 2-3 weeks now.

      I saw the grow light, but it may not be strong enough. In my overall pic, the grow lights above the plants are each 70 watt leds. Most grow lights on Amazon are in the 10 to 20 watt range. Mine are from Amazon but they are in the minority. Do you happen to know the wattage of yours? Also many sellers give the wattage of comparable incandescent lights, which is way higher than led wattage.

      I checked and it says it's 50 watt. So I think your right, it might not be enough. But Im also thinking that maybe it hasn't had long enough time? I'm new to plants, especially succulents so that's pretty much a guess.

      They are easy to prop. Cut off a rosette with small amount of stem. Let it callous in open air for a day or so. Repot into succulent soil. Water very sparingly as needed. Use a squirt bottle to apply water near the stem. Do not water the entire pot.

      These are all stem cuttings done just as I described.

    Where was is before you started using the grow light?

      As soon as I got it I put it under the grow light, but before I had it, it was in a kitchen with barely any light.

      "with barely any light" is yes to why it was really hard to identify lol. It is, yeah, fixed per the thorough explanation above :) ps this is my slightly undernourished sedum.
