I have always thought that this little Calathea was a “Rosiopicta”, however, while researching it, I don’t think this is the case. Planta came up with “Dottie”. What is the consensus out there? To me, she just doesn’t really look like either of these two??? 🤔 Thank you

    I believe this is a goeppertia veitichina. I asked the same question recently and felt this was the closest to what mine looked like. Apparently from the research I’ve done both the goeppertia veitichina and roseopicta used to be categorized as calathea roseopicta but that recently changed.

      I’ve been trying to research the goeppertia veitichina and can’t find anything. Several sites just say that plant doesn’t exist. Can you send me information on where you found this info? TXS. 💚🪴

      Now that I looked again I’m second guessing myself. I’ve seen it labeled as both goeppertia reseopicta (medallion) and goeppertia veitchiana. Here’s a picture in a google image search of veitchiana
