Does anyone have any idea what this little rascal might be? The app keeps saying a peperomia but I can’t seem to accept that because the peperomias for sale in my area (Mid-Atlantic USA) never ever look like this. I bought it at a local chain grocery store and even the florist there couldn’t help. The leaves are thick, full of water, and smell like Romain lettuce when punctured. They have a bit of “fur” on them also. The edges curl in, even on new babies. It’s from LiveTrends Design. I guess I could’ve looked on their site (if they have one) but I was already in the app so I figured I’d check in with my community first :) Also, there seems to be some type of deficiency on the leaves but maybe we can save that for after we figure out what we’re looking at.
