Got this lucky bamboo plant and water it weekly like the tag instructions say but this part is yellow. Wha can I do? Is it fixable?

    The stalk turning yellow means that it is dying. Unless it has a green offshoot that is at least 2-4 inches, I would throw away that stalk completely. If there is a long enough offshoot you could try to grow a new stalk from it, just place the cutting in water and it will grow roots. If the offshoot cutting is too short though, no new stalks will appear. Sorry about your yellow stalk, I hope the others continue to grow!

    Yeah i agree cut off the yellow dying one and throw it away. Sorry. That sucks you just got it. I doubt you did anything wrong.

      Thanks yeah I ended up asking Chat GPT it said the same thing! And it’s my water I have mineral and hard water. Now I know to use bottle water or filtered.

    You can take a gallon jug, think milk jug. I use them to let my water set for 24 hours to allow the toxins out. Then the water is safe.
