Hey all🪴👽! Help is needed with this plant ID. This is a picture of my neighbors plant and she told me it’s an Elephant Ear, however, when I look up “Elephant Ear”, the Planta search results list so many different variegations of Elephant Ear plants. When I search using the photo in the Planta plant identifier, the app claims it is a Split Leaf Philodendron. I will say and it does look like some of the pics shown, but not all of them. I think it most looks like the Elephant Ear “Megladon”. I sure hope one of you one of you lovely Planties know for sure, because my neighbor said I can have a cutting so I need to learn for sure what type it is so I can propagate correctly.

    Not an elephant ear.. I’m leaning towards a split leaf philodendron but I’m not sure

      Yup, except it’s been reclassified as Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum. Unfortunately quite a bit harder to spell and say than split leaf philodendron 🥲 It may look different than other pictures because the leaves look different depending on how mature the plant is
