I was recently given two mystery baby alocasias and I cannot seem to figure out what they may be in the slightest. Both have extremely dark leaves and different stems. I know they are probably too small to identify but if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!

They are both SO dark! Yet have different stems and are completely different sizes

Maybe alocasia infernalis. It’ll be cool to see how they develop!

I’ve been there before too! But I love noticing all the unique traits as a plant grows until I can finally match it to the right name ☺️

I got two mystery ones, two black velvets, two zebrinas, a pink dragon and a dragon scale nub all cooking and it’s fascinating what them all grow at different rates in their own ways 🥰😊
