Rescued this plant from near the garbage. Hoping I can bring it back to life. Does anyone know what this plant is?

Check carefully for pests, since that’s a common reason people throw plants away

Ji11Definitely a BOP,; give lots of bright light and the worst of the foliage can be removed. A balanced fertilizer will help it bounce back, they also love potassium because that’s what produces the thick stalks of these type of plants.
