I purchased this plant last week. The label said it was a philodendron, but it really looks like a monstera to me. I purchased it hoping it was a monstera, so fingers crossed.

    Some monsteras are labeled as philodendron I’ve noticed, especially in local nurseries where people may not be as familiar. It seems philodendron and monstera are part of the same larger arum family, and there are some split-leaf philodendron that look like monsteras, but they aren’t the same.
