Anyone know these two plants and how to care for them?
I have two that are almost the same! The white-veined one is a fittonia; don't let it get too dry or it will be extremely dramatic and lie down in its pot. Also, indirect light. The other one is a peperomia, and it DOES want to dry out between waterings, and wants plenty of light. Loose chunky soil is good for both but especially for the peperomia.

0 Mi piacejust like usual house plant stuff don't put them next to ac or a heater but u don't need a thermometer
3 Mi piaceThe vein one is a Peruvian nerve plant, it loves humidity, I have mine in a terrarium because originally it wasn’t and it got dramatic and dried out but after putting it in the terrarium and keeping it humid and damp it’s thriving.
2 Mi piaceI send this 👆 i had a few fittonias a number of years ago and they all kept dying. I realised a few years after that the places they were being kept in were too inconsistently humid. The peperomia on the other hand is pretty easy to care for
2 Mi piaceThis one is a peperomia obtusifolia. They’re great low-maintenance plants once they’re in a spot they like and in proper soil. They like to be more snug in their pots and get a little root-bound. I keep mine in Espoma’s Cactus and Succulent mix every 12-14 days. They need a very well-draining soil because they’re epiphytic plants. They can handle being in a house without extra humidity, but you should pull them from the windowsill in the winter. I let the soil completely dry out between waterings, and they do well in most lighting situations, but if you have south-facing windowsills to work with, they grow much faster once gradually exposed to more light. Mine sit in my south windowsills in the spring and summer, and I put them under grow lights in the winter to keep them from getting cold. Hope this helps!
2 Mi piaceThis is one of my variegated peperomias, for reference. I’ve only had her since last May and she’s been growing like a weed ever since. I originally placed her in my north-facing window when I first got her, but she did just as well in my south-facing windowsills, and grows a lot faster in brighter light. Peperomias are one of my absolute favorite plants, especially for anyone new to houseplants, so I hope yours treats you as well as mine do 😊
4 Mi piaceI have both and love them. The nerve plant on the right loves to have moist soil. If he is thirsty, you will know! He will dramatically lay down!
