I found both of these beautiful plants today. I went to buy soil and had no intention of buying new plants because I have so many but I couldn’t help my self. Both had several dead leaves and called me to take them home. I trimmed all dead leaves and now the are added to the family. 🥹. Y’all I have an addiction problem to plants. I should never be left alone. lol I couldn’t them them. lol

First one here is a Chinese Evergreen. Very hardy, and mine thrived on neglect. I found it enjoyed being close to a north window (in my case, in a north windowsill, as it was small), and enjoyed being bottom watered. Hope this helps.

0개 좋아요 I couldn’t stop myself either today 😂 literally bought mine from the terrarium plant section of my local pet store. But it was $7 for a ficus elastica. I spotted it on Sunday and came back just to grab it.
I almost bought one too I had it in the cart! lol.

0개 좋아요 Right?! I’m on the verge of asking if they’re hiring just to save their amazingly affordable plants. They keep them all sitting in a huge tray of water instead of watering them individually 😱 I was mortified. Had to save them. The soil was SOAKED, but I repotted them after buying them and the roots were healthy and the plants were (miraculously) pest free. I think it’s my civil duty, frankly, to save their neglected houseplants before someone goes buying them and possibly introducing a pest or two into a delicate reptile terrarium 😗
