I found both of these beautiful plants today. I went to buy soil and had no intention of buying new plants because I have so many but I couldn’t help my self. Both had several dead leaves and called me to take them home. I trimmed all dead leaves and now the are added to the family. 🥹. Y’all I have an addiction problem to plants. I should never be left alone. lol I couldn’t them them. lol

First one here is a Chinese Evergreen. Very hardy, and mine thrived on neglect. I found it enjoyed being close to a north window (in my case, in a north windowsill, as it was small), and enjoyed being bottom watered. Hope this helps.

0 Me gusta I couldn’t stop myself either today 😂 literally bought mine from the terrarium plant section of my local pet store. But it was $7 for a ficus elastica. I spotted it on Sunday and came back just to grab it.
I almost bought one too I had it in the cart! lol.

0 Me gusta Right?! I’m on the verge of asking if they’re hiring just to save their amazingly affordable plants. They keep them all sitting in a huge tray of water instead of watering them individually 😱 I was mortified. Had to save them. The soil was SOAKED, but I repotted them after buying them and the roots were healthy and the plants were (miraculously) pest free. I think it’s my civil duty, frankly, to save their neglected houseplants before someone goes buying them and possibly introducing a pest or two into a delicate reptile terrarium 😗
