I received the "free mystery" plant with a recent order. No clue what it is or even how to repot. There's thin aerial roots. Do I trim them off? Do I chop/prop one of the branch stems? Any help or suggestions appreciated.

MelodyI would pot it in a pot it’s size or about 1 inch larger. It looks like a 4 inch pot would fit it but I’m not sure. For soil I would recommend a chunky mix if you have it. If not just go to a garden store and get potting mix and perlite and mix them together. For short dry arias roots you can chop off but the longe robes I would leave and place them in the soil if they are long enough. I would wait for after the repot if you want to chop so you don’t stress out the plant. I’m not exactly sure what your plant is but it looks like a type of philodendron but I’m not sure.

Almost looks like a vanilla orchid if not for the roots. Expect it to climb, whatever it is

The image id kept coming back orchid, I've never had one, but it just didn't seem right. I was leaning to a hoya, once again never had one. It's this solid stem/growth that's confusing me and the wild aerials. I'll reach out to the company to see what they say. I love free and a surprise, but just a little more info would be helpful. 😆 🤣

The leafy AngelI can’t tell for sure which one it is but it is a philodendron, are the leaves a silvery colour?

I'm seeing the philo now. The main stalk is really, really bent and not a branch off like it initially looked
