   It looks like an amaryllis. They are flowering bulbs. They are very popular and typically seen around Christmas time.

     It shouldn’t get much taller than that, I would think. But I’m not positive. This is what they can look like when they bloom. They come in tons of different colors.

     Right now it’s in the leaf stage. Once the leaves die off you can dig up the bulb and place it in a cool place for 8-10 week then replant and not much longer after you should see a leaf then after that you should see a bloom stalk starting to grow. If you’re not worried about it blooming you can leave it in the pot it’s in and it will continue to grow leafs.

     Thank you so much I was told it’s a red one I got it from my grandma all I known was it’s indoor plant and it grows red flowers
