This is me with some plants too lol, bad experience with them but I can’t resist, so for ivys they usually do better outside but depends on what gardening zone you’re in. I’m in 8a in NC and they lovveeee it outside, the high humidity and the cooler drops of temperatures at night during the winter to induce dormancy but not completely freeze. They also love to trail and hate having soggy muddy soil, their roots just lightly go into the soil. They also love their northern exposure and hate direct light. If you want to grow it indoors, it would be a very finicky plant. You’d have to give it bright indirect light from the east or north facing windows of your home. You’d have to give it a pretty chunky soil mix and make sure to not overwater. Also, during the winter months I’d probably say to put the plant at night in a garage or back patio or somewhere where it can still experience the drop of temps without freezing though. Anddd lastly, I’d say to give it a moss pole for your best bet at making it happy lol. 🤞🏼🙏🏼

Thank you so much! I’ve been keeping it outside for now it’s starting to get a bit chilly like 40 degrees at night. It’s still in its nursery pot and the soil is wet. Do you suggest repotting?

Yeah I’d suggest that, just so it doesn’t have cold wet feet for too long, that might give it root rot fast
