   Looks to be a kalanchoe fedtschenkoi, of lavender scallops. Kalanchoes can be a little more finicky than other succulents after a repotting, so if you ever repot it, I highly recommend covering the roots in Bonide’s Rooting Hormone Powder to reduce the risk of shock from a repot, keeping it in a pot that’s no more than 1-2 inches wider in diameter than the width of the plant’s root ball, and repotting it in Espoma’s Organic Cactus and Succulent Mix. They need a very well-draining succulent mix. Lastly, don’t remove all of the old soil and try not to disturb the roots too much when repotting. Gently remove what you can, stop when you see the roots, and replace what you’ve removed with the new cactus mix. Please avoid Miracle Grow brand soil for this, even their cactus mix. It isn’t well-draining enough, even with added perlite and orchid bark. If you can’t find Espoma, any other brand’s cactus mix should work just fine (that’s just the brand I swear by, as well as all my local nurseries). If you leave the roots alone for the most part, cover any exposed roots in rooting powder, and keep it somewhere it isn’t gonna get cold during this season, it should treat you quite well. And this type of kalanchoe can produce beautiful pink flowers in maturity. Hope this helps! 😊

     thank you i’ve recently picked it up and although it’s sprouting new stems and not loosing any leaves it always looks a bit sorry for itself compared to other photos i’ve seen what can i do ?

     The curled leaves on the one branch of your kalanchoe could suggest that it’s getting a little too cold and dry in its current spot. If that’s the brightest spot you’ve got to work with, you can try placing its pot in a cover pot, placing a towel or two under it and under the lip of the windowsill, or both to try to keep it a little warmer. I’ve got most of my plants under grow lights to avoid the cold windowsills, but if you don’t have any, the ones I still keep near windows are in cover pots and aren’t directly on the windowsill. They’re on shoe racks that keep them high enough for the sun to reach them, but on a warmer surface so the cold doesn’t shock them.

     luckily it was only by the cold window to separate it for a better photo. It’s currently sat against the wall so it hopefully it will improve keeping it a bit warmer and as we get more sun
