I’m pretty sure it is. I actually have one too! Mines a different variety though.

Mine like that one was fine until I went out of town for five days. Now I’m trying to keep him alive LOL.

Oh boy I’m not good with these guys. I got him back in January, and he spent most of the next month dying. I couldn’t figure out what he needed, so eventually I got mad and shoved him in a bowl of water in a dimly lit corner, and now he’s fine???? I guess they need indirect light. I just always keep the bowl he’s in filled and he’s been living happily like that since late February. I’m confident that’s not the best way to do it lol, but it’s been working for me!

They definitely need shade and indirect sunlight. Here’s mine. My house faces north, so it’s in my front facing living room, but away from the window. She is doing fine. She’s been flowering. I just fertilized her last night.

I think it looks more like an Aglaonema, it looks very similar to my spring snow. Either way very similar care. I like to water when about 50% dry in summer months. Both are okay with a lower light situation but I find more light is better - just no direct afternoon sun. Morning sun is good. I fertilize every watering with a half strength liquid fertilizer in the summer :) good luck they are beautiful!

You are correct. It’s an aglaonema wintry wine house. I got mine from a local nursery. She was a little pricey, but she was very healthy and well cared for, much better than any big box stores.

    It’s not a dumb cane. It’s not a diffenbacchia. It’s an aglaonema.
