Help, please. My dad gave me this beauty but I can’t narrow down what kind of gasteria? I think she is a gasteria obliqua?

    I’m not familiar with gasterias, so I’ll let someone else comment on that for you.😊 I just wanted to let you know it is VERY over watered. I know you might have just watered it when you got it, but the leaves look transparent where they meet the roots which is a sign of being over watered. Probably from before you got it. But it probably won’t be able to absorb more water and will sit in wet soil which can cause root rot in succulents. You might want to let it dry out asap so you don’t lose it. I know you were asking for an plant ID, but I didn’t want to say nothing and you lose it before you could get an ID.😬

      Thank you for caring! Yes, I got it just today and overdid it with the watering after potting it. I changed the soggy soil for drier succulent soil right after taking the photo; I do NOT want her to suffer!

    I believe you are right. Obliqua/Maculata (I think) 🤓. Looks very similar to mine.

      Thank you! She is very smol, still. I imagine it will be easier to tell once she is bigger.

      Yes mine is small as well and I too had a bit of a hard time identifying him.
