Just bought this from a plant show & all the tag says is “3” Mini Tropical” I tried looking it up, elephant bush? Peperomia Red Log? Wild Lark? Radiator plant…?? If anybody knows what it is / care instructions, that would be incredibly helpful! Since I got it about a week ago, it looks a little weepy. I’m thinking it needs more humidity / sunlight?

I got one a few weeks ago. I have it in a north facing window and have been watering about weekly. Seems to be doing good. (I only have north and south windows here. I’m sure west or east would be a bit better!)

Thank you so much! Mines a lil baby thing. Should I consider repotting it to something a bit bigger? Also, the humidity in my house is not the best, should I put a humidity dome over it??

Peperomias are usually pretty hardy I’m sure it’ll be fine. Check the roots and see if it’s root bound! I always let my plants sit for a week or two before I repot even if root bound as it needs to adjust to the environment

Peperomia vertillciata. They’re epiphytic plants, so they need well-draining soil to survive. I swear by Espoma’s Organic Cactus and Succulent Mix for mine. They like getting a little rootbound and being more snug in their pots, so it’s ok to not repot it into something bigger until you start seeing roots poking out of the drainage holes Peperomias don’t tend to need extra humidity. Please don’t mist them, even if the app says to. It won’t actually increase the humidity for them and some peperomias do not like getting their leaves wet. A good way to water it without getting the leaves wet is to place it in a bowl/container, fill the container with water, and let it sit in there for 10-20 minutes, then take it out to drain in a sink or dry out over a terra cotta saucer. Hope this helps! https://link.getplanta.com/TmH6joISQG Check out Verticillata Peperomia and its care instructions in the Planta app.

Definitely a peperomia, but I’m not sure which variety. FYI radiator plant is a nickname for peperomia
