I bought this plant and I saw it was called a coral reef plant and I was just wondering if anyone could confirm and maybe have some tips to make it flourish some more? It’ll start sprouting really nice and then stop. I noticed the soil in the middle has almost solidified? I’m a beginner plant mom with a couple plants in my window and any mentors would be greatly appreciated

    I associate a coral reef plant with a sedum species that's green and orange. It kind of looks like trailing Jade, but I'm not 100%

      I think I see the similarities maybe I’ve been caring for it wrong? Any tips for loosening the soil ball in the middle? I can’t even stick my finger in the dirt

      I use a chopstick to loosen up any stuck soil balls. If it is trailing jade, which is a succulent, a well draining gritty soil is best, and water once a week, checking the soil to make sure it's dry. You could also clip some of the trailing parts, let them callus over for a few days and plant them in any bare spots in the pot, to make it fuller
