Hi everyone. I’m hoping that you can help me identify this cactus. For the first few years I was helping take care of it and all three columns were standing straight up. The owner requested weekly watering, which I did but went on vacation and didn’t water it for two weeks and they dropped looking like this. Please help! I’m trying to see if I did anything wrong so I can help these guys grow better and/or replace it for better ones.

I am under the belief that these are peanut cactuses. Also what are the white things coming out of the stems/Columbus or arms?

They are peanut cactus and they look ok to me. They will droop for different reasons but these guys seem to be chasing the light. I don’t see signs of major dehydration or anything. Do they feel solid or a bit soft at the base of each stem? How long have you had them? The white things are aerial roots.

They have been there since I moved in 8 years ago and I’ll have to check the base when I get home. So I’m assuming they are well over 10 years old or okder
