I bought this what appears to be some form of elephants ear from Walmart on clearance for 3$ and it now within 2 weeks it has 5 new shoots/leaves growing concurrently! But im not sure which type it is?

    colocasia esculenta / giant taro plant, these things are invasive where i live and they're everywhere! can't imagine buying one. i pulled mine right out of the ground from outside.

    I have some neighbors that took some from the side of the lake in our apartment complex. One of them in the next building over has a leaf about 5 feet long and standing 10 feet up into the air over the hurricane fence
