What type of plant is this? I just picked it up at an estate sale. It needs some lovin, so I want to make sure I’m caring for it in the right way. The app says it’s a snake plant, but I’m not 100% sure that’s right. Thanks!

It’s for sure a snake plant. How do you plan on treating it?

I just got it. Now that I know for sure what it is, I need to do some research. Any suggestions?

I would suggest repot in soil that you know is better or should I say maybe pest free, check the root if any is black cut them away then spray roots really good off then treat with neem oil. I would repot in a smaller pot so it want be in so much soil. If you can put your palm of your hand freely in the pot on the top soil then that pot is too big. Snake plants like tight areas. Then I would brace the stems with bamboo sticks or chopsticks with attempts on retraining the stems to stand back up straight…then water it really good and do not water again until it is completely dry… spray really good with neem oil because right now with it being this weak it’s a pest magnet. I also would feed it with fertilizer to try to give it nutrients to encourage growth. Good luck

I moved into a rental and the landlord had a poor thing looking like this... give it time and love and she'll spit some new tongues out. Mine has gone crazy in the last two months since I repotted them
