🌿 Weird Brasil… or Something Special? 🌿 Hey plant friends! I took some cuttings from the end of a very long Philodendron Brasil vine, and the leaves are giving me something very unexpected. Before I even cut them, these leaves already had this stunning peachy, pink, almost copper hue—nothing like the usual lime/yellow variegation Brasil is known for. Now that they’re in water, the colors are still holding strong and looking even more vivid. Has anyone seen this happen before? Could this be a natural variation, a sport, or something caused by age or vine stress? The rest of the plant looks like a typical Brasil, so I’m kind of obsessed with these cuttings and wondering if I lucked out. 📸 Pics attached—would love your thoughts!

Looks lovely. On mine, sometimes the new leaves are a little orangey and then they go more to light green as they age.

I think this is just sun stressing. Which would line up with the higher varigation leaves as well

That would make sense. The mother plant is in a south facing window

Keep an eye on it. If it keeps it up even if moved to lower light it could be a mutation. It reminds me of my varigated micans when they sun stress to pinkish/yellow though
