The app keeps saying this is a corn plant but it doesn’t have the palm-like base I see in the pictures. Is this just a juvenile corn plant or is it something else? Thanks in advance!

c.catits probably a dracaena then! im not sure what kind, but that will get you down the correct path :)

Mr VariegatedYes c.cat is right. It’s a Dracaena Fragrans also called corn plant. As it gets taller you strip the bottom leaves off to give it the palm like base your looking for.

Wolfen 🐺Pic from the net, what a baby corn plant aka Dracenea looks like. Like Mr V said, the common stump you see develops later as it grows thicker

fueyThis is my corn plant (don’t mind his crustiness, it’s a work in progress) I didn’t know they could have less color differentiation on the leaves!

I think its common to see this one. But They can come in green, yellow or lime like colors with or without varigation
