Can anyone help me identify these 3 cacti? I got them from my grandpa, he just moved to a nursing home with dementia so unfortunately he no longer remembers I need to repot, a lot of his plants had root rot from inconsistent monitoring due to his dementia, I have never repotted cacti before, he had cactus mix and a note with a couple other things he mixes with it, perlite, and peat moss I think… any tips would be appreciated
not sure about the type of cacti, maybe try a google image search? i would definitely check out those roots!! if they stink, are brown and mushy, they’re rotting. in that case there’s many tutorials on how to save a plant from that! if they are light colored and firm with no smell you don’t have to worry about rot. also cacti don’t need much water, so i wouldn’t water them for about a month and see what happens ! (az native)
1 like I tried both google and planta’s identifier but they seem to have similarities to several varieties and I don’t know enough to tell them apart
