a spider plant’s soil will only really grow mushrooms if you’re overwatering. despite their leafy appearance, spider plants are incredibly drought tolerant and would prefer half to all of their soil dry before watering again

Ah! I bet it’s from me misting it too often— I let this plant dry out all the time, but can’t resist misting it 🤣
