What type of cactus is this? And what do I need to do to get it to grow? What environments and lighting are ideal, it’s been stuck just like this since February

    It kind of looks like a highly variegated african milk tree to me but I'm not 100% certain.

    i agree with the other commenter. Highly variegated african milk tree. cactuses of all kinds need incredibly high light, so either right next to a window or outside. water as infrequently as possible, always test how hydrated it is before watering. usually a good tell is looking for any wrinkles, or giving it a gentle squeeze to see if it gives under your fingers. if it's squishy, it's time for a water. if not, skip it.

      no. it'll tolerate it, but it's native conditions are incredibly dry. keep it away from a humidifier if you're using one and avoid misting it
