I’ve been growing this baby since the beginning of Jan I got it in a mystery node box & I got to the point I thought it was a dud & I was going to toss it but didn’t maybe 3 weeks ago I started to see growth. . I have no clue what it is but I love the leaf shape & texture . I went to bed lastnight & it was a tightly rolled leaf no indication of what you see here . I got up this a.m. & I was so confused where this plant came from then it hit me it was my node !

Was it a “wet stick” or a corm? It looks like it could be a pink dragon alocasia, but that wouldn’t make sense if it a wet stick node cutting 🤔

It def wasn’t a corm it was a wet stick which is another reason I’m confused because yes it does look like an Alocasia .

Curious! Huh. My brain really really wants to say it’s an alocasia 🤣 But if it wasn’t from a corm… maybe a type of syngonium 🤔 Chiapense perhaps, although I’m not sold on that

I think my friend has one of these, they curl up at night and uncurl in the daytime

I’ll post a follow up when it gets a little bigger . It really does look like an Alocasia but I’ve only ever seen one from corm .
