It definitely looks like it could be a jade plant, though there are species of Echeveria and Crassula that can closely resemble jade plants, especially when they’re younger plants. My best advice for you, as a jade plant owner (I’ll attach what my variegated jade looks like, if you wanna compare it to yours), is to ID it as a jade for now, and if after a few months it starts to develop and look like another succulent, perhaps look into echeverias and other forms of crassula. It looks like a jade to me, and I water mine about every 10 days and bottom watering it is key. Always make sure the soil is dry. Even if it isn’t a jade, it’s a succulent, so until you can get an exact ID, its best to make sure you only water it sparingly
2件のいいねBeautiful! Yes that’s kind of what I’ve been doing and treating exactly the same as my other jades. I have a lot of succulent types so I tend to fall on the underwatering side of things anyways! Thank you so much for your advice 😊😊
いいね 1件No problem. I have a 30 year old jade and from my experience with him, I’ve found they love a good south window, and my best tip is to rotate the plant a little every time you put it back in its spot after watering so it grows evenly on all sides. If it starts stretching or leaning to one side, it’s telling you it needs a place with more light. If the tips start turning pink or red, it’s telling you it likes exactly where it is. Good luck!
