Hi! I’m new here and I went to a plant nursery for the first time. I fell in love with so many plants but this one caught my eye. I am not sure what plant this is. This was also purchased in Hawai’i. The stems is mixed colored green with a bit of purple/red. Any information will be helpful! Thank you!
Looks like something in the alocasia/colocasia family. They like relatively frequent watering and a tighter fit in their pot than average. Because they get watered often, take precautions against root rot

0개 좋아요 I use Fox Farm and mix in orchid bark, perlite, charcoal, and coco coir. Ratios depend on my mood 😬.
좋아요 1개Ahh I’ve seen the brand Fox Farm but I’m not familiar with what is good or not. Next time I will buy it! I was definitely attracted to the package. Hahaha
