First time this Hoya Sumatra is going to flower for me. So many peduncles started and dropped or I bumped off as I learned how to care for this guy. Itâs been a long journey but he is thriving now and going to show it with this bloom soon.

Hi all, Please advise- I am worried Iâm losing my little manipurensis! Bought over Etsy in sep. arrived in a cement pot without drainage in moss. After about a week I re-potted in pon. It is living in a small greenhouse cabinet (AkerbĂ€r) with a fan and pebble trays. Max temp ~70F, min ~59F overnight. Under Barrina T8 growlight. Humidity generally 65-75%. Water/fertilize per Planta recs since itâs in pon. Younger leaves are yellowing, one has fallen. What can I try to help?
Tell me what you use for fertilizer specifically for your Hoya. I need to purchase some soon and the one I was using I canât seem to source in my location in Canada any more. Need to find a new go to.
Question about changing substrates.. I'm in hardiness zone 10a and I use coco chips, horticulture charcoal and #3 perlite as my Hoya substrate. Sometimes I'll throw in some coco coir and worm castings as well. I've purchased rooted cuttings that came in either Leca or Lechuza Pon and because I have zero knowledge in hydro, I prefer my coco mix as it has proven successful for me consistently. My question is about making the switch. I don't want to harm the roots. Have any of you switched from Leca or Pon to a chunkier coco mix with success/failure? Do you have any advice in this area? Any help is greatly appreciatedđđ

My latest addition arrived with flower buds that bloomed 2 days later! Sheâs a Hoya Lacunosa Snow Caps and she is fully rooted. I never thought a hoya this little could bloom.

Picked up a mature H Latifolia today, I'm obsessedđđ
Hoya Acuta inner variegata. This might be my most consistently slow growing Hoya. I got it May 2021 as a very small rooted plant and I was finally able to add a trellis to it today. It just slowly grows a bit of vine and then stops and works on a couple leaves, then takes a short rest and does it again. It is such a pretty Hoya but might be many years before I see flowers at this rate.
Do you trellisâŠ.or not? Are there some Hoyas that really need to be trellised? Iâm conflicted and my Hoyas are growing like crazy.
Not a Hoya but very similar. My watermelon dischidia is flowering and it also grew this super neat heart shaped mutated leaf.
Needing some advice for my Hoya Carnosa. Does she need repotting? I have cats, so Iâm a little leery of letting her drape down. Although I know how pretty she would look. Thanks in advance đ
I mean, come on!!! đđ„°đ±đȘŽ
