Someone suggested I would share here my furst Hoya, the Krimson princess. Got it at Lowes. It is almost 24 inches long!
Iām joining Nick on the Hoya Sunday parade and posting my favorite hoyas today! Letās make Hoya Sunday a thing where you post a hoya that made you smile each week! It could happen! Channel Nick! 𤣠Iām new to hoyas. Iām posting, again, the first hoya I ever bought because sheās doing so well. Sheās a hoya pubicalyx āsilver pinkā from Etsy (Socalplantdoll). Iāve had her about a month and she is putting out new growth! My boondocks mentality never heard of hoyas before using this app! Iām looking forward to all the secrets you will share on raising good behaving hoya!

This is the group Iāve been looking for!!!! I canāt wait to see the Hoya I donāt have and blooms I havenāt yet seen. I have quite a few Hoya and my wishlist gets a little longer by the day. Iām Nick! Nice to meet you. Iām obsessed with Hoyas!
This is my Hoya Rotundiflora which came to me as rooted cuttings first week of July. It was the very first Hoya I got! I loved the shape and texture of the leaves. And now I see the cutest little rectangular leaf and 3 more active growing pairs on the same spike! Iām so excited to see that itās getting what it needs š¤©šŖ“šæšš±
Hey planties! Excited to join this group and see all your hoya babies, and discover new varieties. This is my 1st ever hoya, isnāt she a sweetheart lol? I didnāt know that she wouldnāt produce any more leaves when I bought her, but Iām ok with that now I think Iāll just have to get her a new hoya friend or two.
Would this Hoya kerrii be considered rootbound?
Iāve had my hoya for a couple months now, and it finally grew a new leaf a couple weeks ago. However, the leaf is distorted and small. The whole plant has become droopy, and the leaves feel floppy. Initially the plant was in very hard, compacted soil, which I believe led to water draining through the pot without any moisture being retained in the soil. I repotted it into a faster draining mix. The roots looked healthy. Since then, itās continued to droop. Itās not getting better or worse, and itās been a couple of weeks now. I donāt want to water it again in case it has been overwatered, but I really donāt know why itās not getting any better.
New peduncles found today. ššŖ“
Hoya Louise - this one just keeps flowering. This is the third or fourth time this season. It smells mildly of creamy floral with a hint of lemon.
Does anyone have the prehistoric looking Hoyas?? Examples include clemensiorum, imbricata, caudata Sumatra, callistophylla, mitrata, Jennifer, undulata, etc Btw this is in no way a real classification itās just a vibe that they give off lol. I think they commonly have ruffles, serrated edges, prominent veining, sunstressing, and splashing. I think these are so funky and stunning especially when they bloom 𤩠And this photo is NOT mine (on instagram as @plants.eat.sleep.repeat) haha itās a Hoya undulata
