The day has finally arrived! My variegated Hoya multiflora’s single flower bud bloomed. All the other buds blasted, but this one powered through. It took what felt like forever. Oh and very excited for the new stem. 😍💚

Love how black the new leaves are and this particular grey/silver big splashed leaf -my current favorite leaf from my collection. Not sure if it’s a particular variety of pubicalyx because it was unlabeled and hasn’t flowered, but she’s big, dense, beautiful, and I love it.

There was discussion about how Hoyas grow, hanging or trellised. I think the photo is a perfect example of what usually happens when a Hoya is trained down or in a circle or when it hangs down. It grows a vine at the top of the curve. This is H. hellwigiana. She was growing just fine and producing leaves without a trellis, but when she started blooming, I gave her a trellis for support. The vine is circling the front of the trellis.

Hi everyone! I got three new Hoya today and wanted to know if anyone has care tips or recommendations based on your growing conditions for these Hoya 😅 Left: H. Dennisii Frida Right: H. Heuschkeliana inner variegata Bottom: H. Leucantha I’m most curious about the light requirements as that seems to be most crucial and is most variable for different Hoya species in my collection. Thanks in advance for any tips!

This is a Hoya Quinquenervia. I got it for its large leaves and long vines. I moved it outside in early spring to get more leaves on its bare vines and it didn’t disappoint. It’s an easy care hoya I can recommend. 😍🪴

Hey all! How far is too far from a window for a plant? I’m just starting growing plants myself but my Hoya is producing flowers but not blooming. It’s about 5 meters away from our biggest window. Is that too far? For reference the Hoya is bottom right of the photo and there is our window. Thanks
