Please help!!! I'm not sure what to do at this point. As I'm learning I realized I should have left it in it's nursery pot, but before I knew that I repotted it and the soil wasn't draining enough. Now it's lost several leafs and others are barely holding on. I'm not sure if I should remove the bottom two leaves. I also put in back in a smaller pot like it came with. The roots and everything were very wet so I just put it in dry soil and have not watered it hoping the roots will dry out. Sorry for the long winded post. I'll add a few pictures. I'll add what it looked like before and now :(

My 40+ year old hoya took a few years to settle in after moving houses again, but is so happy now! Counting at least 15 blooms in various stages!

hoya friends I want to share my little success story, I was under watering my carnosa and it ended up super super dry, well I moved it from soil to water and let it soak for about a week and it picked up enough water to look good again. this was 3 months ago and I am not seeing any negative effects and it's pushing out a ton of new leaves now.

I'm a year into being a planty parent, I started off with Cactus and Philodendron, As of today, I'm a proud parent of Hoyas.. I have a Hoya Heusckeliana Variegated, Hoya Krimson Queen, Hoya Australis Variegated Albo and 2 Hoya Mathilde Splash... I'm so nervous, the shipping experience was kind of horrifying, I received these plants in poor conditions. I lost half my HKQ, Could you tell me if they look healthy, I have them under a barrina t5 full spectrum led grow light inside my greenhouse cabinet, humidity 50%~60% ..warmth.. 72°~80° They're repotted in Molly's around mix so they'll be in chunkier, airier mix.. Clear shallow pots with big drainage holes, sitting inside a cover pot. Thank you✌🏽🌿

Huge guy over here... No blooms for 2 years. Why is this, and is there smth going in I don't know about? He looks rly healthy, and I've had hoyas for a while and always been able to make them bloom. Thanks!

She finally bloomed! These Hoyas eh??….always ready to impress us! Let alone the smell of this one…what can I say…. I am rather puzzled actually! It is not unpleasant at all, yet it is almost difficult to figure out what it could be related to….it has some sort of “lemony” scent…and that’s all for me. 🤷🏻♂️. It would be awesome if anyone that has come across it could share their thoughts? 🙏❤️

Hello All: I began my Hoya journey approx 4 years ago. Both Hoya Princess and Queen were bought then, from cuttings. As you can see they are still alive and seem healthy but they’re quite small and have not bloomed to date. I read they were slow growers but this seems extreme. I have only repotted them once, they’re in loose chunky soil and are in a south facing window with blinds. So, usually no full on soil if it’s too hot. I water them every 14-20 days depending on the season. Plus, I feed them liquid fertilizer mostly spring/summer. Am I missing something? FYI, I have 15 Hoyas and 50% have bloomed and all are in good health. I welcome any advice. 🙂

I’m new to Hoyas, and I’m a little confused about watering. Planta says both of these plants are considered low demand, and that I should let the soil dry up before watering. However, Planta also says the Crimson Queen needs a perfect balance of water, not too much, and not too little. Can you tell me if you test a Hoyas need for moisture by using a wooden stake, or what? And why does Planta say the Crimson Queen needs a perfect balance of water? It sounds sort of like an oxymoron to me? Please, maybe some clarification on how to water these? TIA!
