Is this a peduncle on my Hoya Carnosa?? Sorry the picture is the the greatest, had some trouble focusing for some reason.
my hoya kerrii has been growing like crazy for the past year and iâve been too scared to cut it but i think itâs finally time!
I have had my Hoya Noona plant about 8 months. Itâs been in a northeast facing bay window most of the time growing lots of vines and no flowers. I put it outside the window into high humidity, 87°F average temperatures with very bright indirect light in the shade of the house. It put out its first ever peduncles after being outside 3 weeks! Itâs the fourth hoya that started blooming after i moved them to that location. I might build a living wall of hoyas on this outside north wall! Itâs their happy place and mine!đ
Someone along the way asked about killing mealybugs with alcohol or maybe they asked if what they had was a mealybug. So, this is a highly magnified before and after pic of what they look like alive and dead. If you spray perlite with alcohol, it stays white. Just sayinâ that when you aim the alcohol swab or spray at a mealybug and say âoh youâre toastâ they actually are đ€Ł
My very kind neighbor gave this to me, and I have no idea what Iâm doing. Please help.
Golden hour đȘŽ
Picked up this Hoya a few weeks ago without a label and have been looking around to what it might be. Iâm thinking some type of fuzzy leaf Australis. The internet points me to Australis âkeysiiâ. Thoughts?
Hello! picked up this unlabeled 2in pot (for $3!). Iâm pretty new to plant stuff. I believe it is a hoya, possibly a krimson princess? Would someone be able to confirm/point me in the correct direction?
How cute is this bloom on Hoya aldrichii?
No blooms yet, but she be fancy!!
Hello! Iâm very new to hoyas and was wondering if anybody has tips! I was given a very long cutting from my friendâs dad and I cut it into many pieces! Itâs starting to grow roots now! How long do I have to wait to transfer it to soil? Will it also grow new stem and leaves?? Does anyone know what kind this is?
I never thought I would see a day where I can say I have 4 hoyas blooming! My Hoya Krohniana Super Silver has 2 peduncles. I bought it 9 months ago. The blooms smell like honeysuckle and the bergamot (bee balm) scent in the vintage Posnerâs blue hair grease!đ If you know, you know!âïž My Hoya Heuschkeliana (yellow flowers) was bought in bloom. Iâm happy itâs still vigorously blooming 5 weeks after it arrived! They smell like buttered popcorn up close. đŒ My Hoya Lacunosa and Hoya Lacunosa Royal Flush are both blooming. There blooms are similar. Both arrived about 2 months ago. All of the hoyas get morning sun and bright afternoon shade. I moved 10 more plants to that location hoya âhappy place!ââAll are easy care plants.
Obovata blooming for the first time this year đ±
Lovely scented tiny Hoya blooms.

Light: grow light bulb 14 hours Humidity: average 50% Ambient Substrate: coco chips and perlite Water: when damp/dryish (you canât really overwater coco chips) Fertilizer: every other watering or randomly.
So excited that my Hindu rope is blooming second year in a row in a new house and I see more baby flower đž blooms coming! Smells like chocolate to me! Is there any risk that with too many blooms at a time that the plant will die? I love this plant so much!
When I got this little cutie the nursery warned me she would be a slow growing plant. Cut to 10 days later⊠đ (How cute are those little leaves?! đ)
Can someone identify these Hoya? I thought both were Hoya Burtoniae but they look slightly different so Iâm not sure. Both are fuzzy/velvety leafed, but one has much larger, elongated leaves.
Hello! Any insight as to what is wrong with my fiddly? He has a grow light and its watered once a week.
