Hoya EPC 260. Had no idea the blooms would be so tiny as the leaves are quite large. So pretty.

Hoya krohniana - I went to inspect this plant and pull out dead leaves and whatnot and had no idea there were even peduncles on this plant! What a great thing to stumble upon! I’m thinking my fertilizer concoction is doing good things. There are several other peduncles budding on the plant as well! 💚💚💚🤌
Hoya sheperdii- all the buds have officially opened! The scent is very strong at night. I love it. 💚💚💚🤌
Hoya wayteii blooms reaching
Just completely obsessed with this new beauty 😍
Help! My grandma had this beautiful Hoya Bella passed down to her. My grandma has been gone almost 10 years and the plant as made its way across the country to different family members. Mine? Won’t grow at all. I was hoping to have them at my wedding this September to honor my grandma.. Help!! I live on the west coast of Canada in a basement suite. It’s usually between 18-22 degrees Celsius. I’m in a basement suite with no natural lights so I’m using grow lights. What’s the best soil mix, how far from the light and how often? I have some going in soil, and some trying to get roots in various propagation stations including the aquarium. Help help help!
I am thinking about transitioning my Hoya from hanging to a trellis….how do I go about doing that?
Waiting for this bloom to open. Hoya patella
Hoya insularis little alien looking blooms. The meliflua leaf in the background doesn’t go with the bloom. It bloomed at the end of a long runner. Added a photo of the leaves. This is one of my favorites.
This Hoya Sigillatus (narrow leaf) is a slow grower. It’s the last of my hoyas to put out new growth points. Time to repot and add more light.
Hoya Erythrina flowered. Little to no smell at all. They get very drippy after they’ve been open for a few days.
so my dad used to have quite a bit of Hoyas and they were my favorite out of all of his plants. Long story short he had given his plants to somebody else they had killed them. They tried to give them to me to revive them, and I’m not capable of that, any recommendations? a few are damaged beyond repair but I’d like to save the others
First Hoya shepardii blooms coming soon!
I’ve had this Hoya Compacta for three to four years now and I repotted it in this tall pot with succulent soil (before I knew better) and I really do t know what to do with it. I do t have a place to let it cascade like I’d like it to and want to repot it and am thinking about propagating some from the two longest pieces. The picture of the full pot is an older picture, the other two were taken today. If I take some of the length off of these, where should I cut? Is it normal for them to have that long space with no leaves like in the one picture? As you can see there is new growth happening now! Thanks for any tips on what to do with it. Also, after blooming, do the peduncles stay on the plant and it bloom from those again or do they put them out in other places? This one had two blooms last year and that’s the first time it bloomed. Thanks again!
I got two Hoya Brevialata plants last September. It was my first time owning this hoya variety. They were tiny with spoon and scoop shaped fuzzy leaves. I got two hoping one would survive. I’ve kept them both in the original 2.5” wide pots. Both have grown very well. They have recently added many new growth points since temperature has warmed up each day. They are easy maintenance plants. Leaves don’t go yellow. They wrinkle slightly and drop when I wait too late to water them. They sit in a north window. I fertilize every two weeks with diluted fertilizer and SuperThrive.
My wishlist plants and cuttings arrived this week!
Hey all! I’ve had this Hoya for about 8 months now, and it has had basically no growth (one long stem with only 2 leaves that I recently chopped to propagate). I’m looking for some tips on how to promote growth, and if there’s anything I can change about my care! It sits in a sun room with north/west facing windows, so it gets lots to light. I water when soil is 70%+ dry. I fertilize with a liquid fertilizer sporadically (maybe every 4-5 waterings). I appreciate your help!
Obovata is definitely my favorite of the common Hoya. What’s yours?
Looking for recommendations for a fertilizer for my Hoya. Thank you for your suggestions.
Hi. I’m wondering how often should I water my hoya krimson queen in a 4” nursery pot? Thank you. :)
