Hoya sp. aff. burtoniae

Posted in Plant ID also. Looking for help to ID this Hoya. Google Lens said a H. Carnosa “Freckled Splash” and on this app as a wax flower, nothing more specific. Thanks for any help Beth

I’ve had my heart Hoya since it was… 3 hearts I think. And it’s grown tremendously! Proud plant parent. The bottom hearts have some brown/black markings 😢 What can I do?

I got a Hoya Fungii so that I could join this group! I hope that this will spark an obsession for Hoyas!

My hoya obivata got new leaves and they are pure white. Cool, but not cool.

Please tell me what I’m doing wrong. I have two hoyas that have remained roughly the same size for the last eight months. It’s like they are frozen in time. I have them both under grow lights, I repotted them both about a month ago in chunky soil, and I fertilize lightly with every watering. I use planta’s advice and I allow the soil to dry up between watering. One of them is slightly droopy right now, but that’s because it’s almost watering day. There are no pests, no signs of damage or blemishes on either plant. I live in Hawaii so the temperature is usually 70-80 and the humidity is usually in the 70’s. I want these guys to thrive! Thoughts?

Updates on my hoya polyneura, mathilde, and wayetii propagations I started over the summer. All have been transferred into soil and have had significant new growth. Extremely pleased and can't wait to see their growth in the upcoming year. The polyneura was my top wishlist Hoya for 2025, so I was thrilled to receive a two leaf cutting.

Loving all this new growth on my cheap grocery store hoya!
