Hoya Golden Eye. A hybrid created by horticulturist Mike Miyashiro, crossing the Hoya erythrina and incrassata.
Guessing the answer is yes, but should I cut off this stem that appears to be dead? Hoya Wibergiae
Drive 30 miles and meet some stranger in the parking lot for a plant?? Absolutely! Hoya Coriacea Silver Splash
Windy is doing amazing loving our transition into the winter solstice apparently. However with the glass shelve and everything else going on this picture it hurts my eyes to try and see her entirely in this picture š this area is the Hoya hangout
Wilbur Graves Silverāsuch a beauty.
ID help-please! Was gifted this as an Obovata or Dinner Plate. Searches came back primarily as Kerrii (itās not) or one said Heuschkeliana broad leaf green form juvenileš¤·āāļø Itās 3 3/4W x 4 1/4L. Not as shiny as photographed. More matte. Can feel veination, otherwise smooth. Is āstiffā, but not particularly thick like an Obovata or Kerrii. Front and back shown in photos. If I can add anything else to help identify, ask and I will add to post. Appreciate any help with ID. Thanks, Beth
Recently got this Heuschkelania Inner Variegated. She said she had wrapped the long stem inside for transport. It seems the whole stem is pushing out roots. Maybe it was wrapped in the pot for some time? Should I try to pack it back in?
My Verticillata Silver Heart journey. I first purchased a one node VSH cutting and the plant turned out not to be very silver (but still cute and splashy). So I purchased another cutting that was much more silver, definitely became a favorite. But then a local plant expert mentioned Clone One to me which has rounder leaves, so I bought a cutting of that and it is absolutely adorable. Typically, I wouldnāt want to own three of the same plant, but in this case, I think I need to make an exception ā I love them all!
I spy with my little eye.. Soooo many peduncles!
This Hoya Sigillatis has once again bloomed!!ā¦.and in its best so far. No scent whatsoever thoughā¦.letās see if in the evening things may be different šš¼ š¼ š¤š¼
This is my New Hoya, I have been wanting to try my hand with Hoya for a while,so Iāll need all of the basics & help I can get! The card on it say it is a āShining Sea Starā. Thanks, for any help you can give me š
So I know, at least I think I know, itās a Pubicalyx. Lighter color than the Splash I have. Iām hoping itās a Pink Silver. I know sometimes you need to wait for flowers to confirm, but what do you guys think?
So, I got 5 Hoyas from an online nursery, an australis āLisaā, wayetii variegata, lacunosa āSunriseā, villosa, and this publicalyx āChinese Blackā. There were also several cuttings. Two of the cuttings and this publicalyx had mealybugs. Not a huge amount, but enough that after treatment and quarantine for a couple of weeks they popped back up on the publicalyx and the āLisaā. Seems to be treated on the cuttings tho as they are finally starting to do ok now I moved them under grow lights. Couldnāt risk it till I was sure. I sprayed the two Hoyas with isopropyl alcohol and used a cotton tip for the ones I could see, then rinsed off with a spray of water, and covered them with a light coating of diatomaceous earth (I used a glitter spray), then moved their behinds outside. I had thought they were ok and moved them out of quarantine and into the main collection; I only just spotted the mealybugs in time! My question is how long is this likely to take to deal with? The weather is finally warm enough for them to stay out overnight, thankfully, but itās so stressful. I wanted to get some Hoyas to try them out and see if I vibed with them, and I love them! I know it takes ages for them to flower but I liked the idea of flowers inside. I want to get more!!! Iām just a little gun shy after this. I also have a slight problem with space lol. Anyway, I appreciate any help or advice you can give tia

Just got this one in the mail today. Why is one of the leaves a brighter green? Is that normal? Is it a new leaf and that's why?
