Hello. Iâm new to this group and to planting. I have an offshoot from my thriving Rose of Sharon that Iâm trying to propagate but itâs not looking great.
I have holes in the cup, good potting soil mixed with a little coco peat soil, and in part sun on my back porch (south facing zone 9).
The first day she looked perky, like she stood a chance, but now sheâs just droopy. Two days ago I bought growth hormone and dunked the tip in and replanted.
Any insight is appreciated! Thanks

Iâve been having trouble with my Hoya for the past few months. For a while I was living in an apartment that didnât get direct sunlight so Iâm thinking that was what originally was causing the yellowing leaves and no blooms. Before I moved to my new apartment with full sun, I repotted them but Iâve noticed that some of the leaves are dropping off or turning yellow. Itâs only been 3 weeks in the new place and I water every 10 days according to Planta. Could it be that my Hoya is still adjusting to all the changes?
This plant has been in my family for longer than Iâve been alive so I want to do whatever I can to keep it going. I did take some clippings which are doing well just as a backup.

Hi everyone! I need some help identifying this Hoya. I got it yesterday, and it was labeled as an âassorted Hoya.â At first I thought it was a carnosa crimson princess, but after brining it home, I realized that the lead shape is much more oval compared to my crimson princess. Would love some help with identifying this plant!

hi, yâall! đđŒ i may be overthinking this but i just so happened to notice my krohniana was feeling a bit soft in almost all her leaves đ§ sheâs due for a water in a few days so i was thinking that might be it but i noticed her soil was still a bit moist (not wet). sheâs in mollyâs aroid mix, drainage hole, i water her about every 2 weeks when soil is mostly dry, sheâs under a grow light, no sign of pests. i decided to give her fresh soil cuz iâm paranoid. her roots were mostly fine, not black or mushy, but there were some roots that pulled off & were kind of dry. any idea what the deal is? i havenât watered her new soil yet, should i? i dont want to overwater her but i donât want to underwater her! đ°

I got this Hoya Bella in a mystery box in sept . This was a sad cutting because I couldnât figure out at first what it was it was so shriveled it came to me this way . I pretty much babied it đ€ & I was so exited once it started to progress. There were times it didnât look so good đ«€ I figured out it was a Hoya my fav! So 3rd pic is as of today ! This is def a good thing for me too because I generally am not a patient person I want to see progress & it showed me good things actually do come to those who wait đ

New hoya arrivals. Hoya Nummularoides is the full plant. Both the Hoya Polyneura and the Hoya Chinghungensis were in a priority mail package that I ran over with my car! My mail agent thought it was a good idea to leave it under my car. I think he was trying to place it out of the sun. Unfortunately, my front license plate frame and a front tire hit it. Luckily, nothing was damaged except the outer box. It also sat in the rain two days until I backed out of the driveway!
