I’m concerned! I bought a Hoya a few weeks ago and it is dropping all its leaves! I used the app diagnosis of overwatering and dried with newspaper and planted back in dry soil, but it continues to drop leaves! This is how it looks now - anyone have any advice?

I was excited when the first peduncle appeared on my Hoya Hanhiae last month. I’ve only had it a year. Bought it as a small rooted cutting. The blooms disappeared two weeks later. I suspect too much rain water even though the roots and leaves look fine. The plant decided to try again and put out new flower buds! 😍💗

Hey y’all I’m fairly new to Hoyas and I have two cuttings that have been propping in water with root hormone… was this the right way to prop them? They’re forming root bumps now but if I should put them in soil over water prop I’d rather not lose them as they are sentimental to me.

Does anyone know why my Hoya rope is getting wrinkly leaves? I follow plants watering schedule but I am trying to figure if it’s not enough? No dead leaves or growing leaves just wrinkly ones.

I saved two of these hoyas from a big box store a few months back. Today I rinsed the roots and repotted them with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. One of the pots has two stems with no leaves, is there any hope for them to put out new leaves? Any tips for hoyas are welcome!!!

I’m unsure what to do with my Hoya pubicalyx- it just keeps growing a long vine up the wall. Do I trellis her or put her in a basket so she can vine? I was hoping to have her in a basket so she can hang down on my couch where it’s cat safe- but I don’t know what’s best for her. Thoughts?

New to plants, and just adopted this Hoya heuschkeliana variegata. Any tips on fertilizer (type, how often?) or sun placement? I have her across from a west facing window that gets some good indirect sunlight in the afternoon / evening. Are they also best as a hanging or climbing plant?

Hi....i am not a huge Hoya gal but I have this one that is growing and thriving. Just don't know what she is!! Help please. I bought her as a small plant last year at a plant show and I couldn't read the tag. She is a long vine, with thin, fuzzy leaves.

Hoya Elliptica. This is her best blooms yet!😍 She’s a bit pale from being sun stressed. Came in a 4” pot. Never repotted. I will repot next spring to a slightly larger pot. I added the bamboo trellis last year when she had a growth spurt and started blooming. I got her in March 2024 on Etsy (BradysPlantExchange).

Just a week after my first ever Hoya blooms (on Hoya polyneura), I just got my second ever blooms! 😱 I know there are only two flowers but I am obsessed! It had blasted the peduncle a few times so I definitely didn’t expect this to open 😁 I had just chopped up and propagated most of the plant but the blooms are on the base of the mother plant! This is Hoya Dennisii ‘Frida’

Polyneura is my favourite Hoya! I’ve got both normal green and Albomarginata in this pot. My vision is that the Albo will drape over the green for contrast. 🥰 Can you believe there is just one single green plant/cutting in this pot? 😬
