Hoya sunrise flowers are so fragrant. These fuzzy flowers have the best scent out of all the other Hoyas I have. Loving the sun stressed leaves. Look at those colors… only plant people can understand the joy. 😀

My Hoya ‘Mathilde’ is working on its first set of flowers. I’m so excited to see it bloom, but I was wondering if any Hoya experts could tell me how long I should expect to wait until they bloom once they’re at this stage. I’d also love to see what the flowers look like on anyone else’s Hoya of this cultivar, or what they’ve found theirs smell like, as I’ve heard the scent can vary even within the same cultivar. Thanks in advance! 😊

How many blooms do you see? This plant came from my husband’s grandmother. We have shared cuttings throughout the years within the family to keep her going. She’s beautiful, and HEAVY!!!

Gwen started life as a cutting from my Mom’s 45+ year old plant. She grew roots in water that then formed secondary roots. This soil kick has lasted for about 2 weeks, so far. Is there anything I should be doing at this stage to promote new growth!?

I’ve had this baby since 2023. she was the only plant i brought to my freshman dorm. Got scared because she got sick when i moved into apartment. But it makes me so happy to see her getting better just with an adjustment to space! Hiya in leca!

My mathilde bloomed for the first time today! All the peduncles it’s had in past years have mostly blasted (she also had mealybug forever) so I’m excited this one stayed! So fuzzy 😊

My callistophylla is blooming - these are my first Hoya blooms so I’m happy to see them! They don’t seem as vibrant as they could be- is it possibly getting too much sun (or not enough)? It’s in a South window that’s partially shaded by a tree

After one full year of zero growth, this little plant has two, maybe three new leaves! I’m so excited! I see so many pictures of beautiful Hoyas out there and I wonder to myself, “why can’t I get it right?” Hopefully after several repots and location changes, I found the right mix. I’m crossing my fingers, hoping to one day have an incredibly beautiful and healthy Hoya. Any tips would be appreciated.
