Hi! I was hoping to get some advice on my Hoya Krimson Queen. Some of the leaves are curling into a kind of âdomeâ shape, but theyâre still firm and healthy, no yellowing, mushiness, or pests. I recently bought it and Iâm wondering if this is just normal for this variety, or if it could be related to watering or soil/drainage. The roots look good and thereâs no rot smell.

OK, I think some of you helped me with my Hoyas when I posted last about them. Basically, Iâve had them for a year and theyâve both grown very little. I took them out of their pots once again today and I think the problem is that Iâm over watering them because the soil was slightly moist and although there are some healthy roots, there are also some thin dark colored roots. Iâm going to have to repot these but now I donât know what to put them in. Thoughts?

After almost 2 years, I'm finally gonna know what kind of hoya this is. It's my very first hoya and it came with two in the pot, "Hoya variety". All the Google searches and asking other people/groups, we all landed in waiting til it flowers. So FINALLY!!! đ€Ł I did everything I could to get it to flower but I think what did it was drought. I went 8 days after the reservoir dried out before watering(pon set up). I will be back later with more updates! đ The other hoya(no peduncles yet) is in the living room window(east), this one is the dining room(south). The windows have screens.

Happy Hoya⊠Hi plant friends - I have 1 Hoya Flamingo Dream & just received 2 other Hoya species These are Hoya sp Villosa & Callistophylla. Do these stay within a dormancy stage in winter as my initial Flamingo is in leaf but hasnât grown since purchase ( b4 Xmas). What are hints & tips in reference to soil substrate, watering and feed type to kick start the thriving stage rather than the surviving stage đ Thx in advance âŠ. Chris

What are these black dots on my rope Hoya? đ I donât see any movement, I canât find bugs on the plant itself but clearly there is something! Challenge with this plant is all the nooks and crannies. Was thinking my next step might be a full soak in peppermint Castile soap and repot?

Hi all! I have a Hoya Curtisii. I got it from online. I know theyâre not the most attractive, but Iâve seen them better. When I got it, it just didnât look right. The photos are gonna show some leggy vines, spaces, the coloring of the leaves. I donât think it looks great, and it looks like thereâs a lot of roots coming off of the vines. Is this normal?

This is my new Hoya pubicalyx, Nami! I just got her last week. I put her in a window that gets some indirect and some direct light, and I have a small humidifier for it too. I havenât watered it since getting it because the leaves are still looking good. However it dropped a baby leaf on its runner today! Iâm not sure if itâs just adjusting to the space or if Iâm doing something wrong?
