Newest leaves on my Kerrii
My Hoya Iris Marie plants have grown well. Their new leaves are simply gorgeous!
What is the best trellis for Hoya’s Carnosa’s? I feel that Carnie has outgrown this one. Also if there is one better suited for her, I’d like to help her. Thank you 🥰
FINALLY getting a new leaf on the kerrii that I got late last summer. Not to jinx it lol. It dropped an adult leaf before I got it. Then dropped a pair of baby leaves the first week I had it. A second set of leaf nodes started to grow a while after that but then dropped one at a time. This node only seems to have activated on one side, but I’m really cheering for it! Maybe the trellis did the trick? I had a few people suggest one but I didn’t take it seriously at first 😅
Hi there, I’ve had this Hoya Hindu rope for over a year now and it literally hasn’t grown, hasn’t flowered, nothing. I know Hoyas are slow growers but I’m starting to think I could be doing something wrong. Someone send help 😂.
Got these cuttings in November, excited to finally see new growth 👏👏
Hi community, A few leaves of my plant started looking like this. Two fell off. I am not sure what to do. I got the plant early december and I watered it twice so far, last time one and a half weeks ago. The soil is not wet, it doesn’t stick to my finger or anything but I wouldn’t say it’s completely dry because it feels cold to the touch. Should I give it more water or is this caused by overwatering?
In 3 months time, my Ganung Gading has given me 4 new leaves with more on the way.. What a prolific grower she is!💚
Hoya Davidcummingi, hoya Memoria and Hoya brevilata. The first two just opened today. Brevilata has been blooming for 4 days or so. The brevilata pic is on top.
Hoya buotii ‘sunrise’ bloom. The most recent bloom in my collection. I regularly post my collection on Instagram. To follow, just search @herektty 😊
Some pretty Hoya in my collection today that needed photo updates.
I’m so happy and shocked the Curtsii has flowered!!!
Loving this leaf 💚 Hoya latifolia (formerly macrophylla)
Got a couple of wishlist Hoya today! I’m so excited about them that I literally just told my adult daughter to go home so I could sit and stare at my plants😂 Hoya Carrii-NS13-064 & Hoya Walliniana variegated.
New Hoya parent here… I’ve read that you should let the soil dry out close to 100% and that you can do the taco test. If the taco bends, water. If resistance, don’t. My Hoya is new I haven’t watered her yet. Her soil is damp but her leaves are tacoing - do I keep waiting to water??
Just picked this beauty up at Home Depot today. Hoyas are harder to find in my area - can anyone confirm what kind she is?
New leaf coming in on my Hoya Memoria
Hi all! New here, figured I’d share my beloved Hoya. ~20 years ago my mom saw this at a rental booth while on a family canoeing trip. She remembered it from her grandma’s kitchen so asked for a clipping. It grew and thrived for years and and moved with us. When I moved out she gave me 3 ~12” clippings. Now 4 years later and this is the current state of those clippings. My absolute favorite plant in my collection! Current state is no flowers (she’s growing filling out a ton currently, it’s incredible) but I’m including her recent flowering session several months ago too because wowww
Impulsive crassipetiolata buy! This was one of the very first hoyas on my wish list. Finally found one in-person. Looks decent!
This Hoya Kerrii reverse var. is a beast. Vines are so hard to bend to the trellis. I do it with string and just tighten the string a tiny bit each day until it is where i want it. Sometimes the stem will weep a bit at the bend but then i just wait for it to heal/callous over and I start tightening the string again. I guess you could call it braces for a plant LOL
