This is the group I’ve been looking for!!!! I can’t wait to see the Hoya I don’t have and blooms I haven’t yet seen. I have quite a few Hoya and my wishlist gets a little longer by the day. I’m Nick! Nice to meet you. I’m obsessed with Hoyas!

This is my Hoya Rotundiflora which came to me as rooted cuttings first week of July. It was the very first Hoya I got! I loved the shape and texture of the leaves. And now I see the cutest little rectangular leaf and 3 more active growing pairs on the same spike! I’m so excited to see that it’s getting what it needs 🤩🪴🌿🍃🌱

Hey planties! Excited to join this group and see all your hoya babies, and discover new varieties. This is my 1st ever hoya, isn’t she a sweetheart lol? I didn’t know that she wouldn’t produce any more leaves when I bought her, but I’m ok with that now I think I’ll just have to get her a new hoya friend or two.

Would this Hoya kerrii be considered rootbound?

I’ve had my hoya for a couple months now, and it finally grew a new leaf a couple weeks ago. However, the leaf is distorted and small. The whole plant has become droopy, and the leaves feel floppy. Initially the plant was in very hard, compacted soil, which I believe led to water draining through the pot without any moisture being retained in the soil. I repotted it into a faster draining mix. The roots looked healthy. Since then, it’s continued to droop. It’s not getting better or worse, and it’s been a couple of weeks now. I don’t want to water it again in case it has been overwatered, but I really don’t know why it’s not getting any better.

Hoya Louise - this one just keeps flowering. This is the third or fourth time this season. It smells mildly of creamy floral with a hint of lemon.

Does anyone have the prehistoric looking Hoyas?? Examples include clemensiorum, imbricata, caudata Sumatra, callistophylla, mitrata, Jennifer, undulata, etc Btw this is in no way a real classification it’s just a vibe that they give off lol. I think they commonly have ruffles, serrated edges, prominent veining, sunstressing, and splashing. I think these are so funky and stunning especially when they bloom 🤩 And this photo is NOT mine (on instagram as @plants.eat.sleep.repeat) haha it’s a Hoya undulata

Hoya Jennifer is my favorite Hoya bloom scent. It smells just like roses. First photo is just after they opened and second photo is the next day.

My two Hoyas 🥰 I love how much variety there is between Hoyas! I hope to get a reverse variegated kerrii someday 😍

I am pretty sure joining this group will be a BIG mistake 🤣😂🤣 Very new to hoyas. Recently I’ve purchased a few (and really a few more…ok more than a few… seems they’re like peanuts - you can’t eat just one. ) I look forward to showing you my fumbling attempts and hopefully the odd triumph 😀

I’m literally so excited to stare at everyone’s beautiful flowers (and foliage) 🤩😱✨
