New leaf on my Clemensiorum.. I bought her as a one leaf rooted cutting in September and wasn’t sure whether I’d be able to help her take off, so I’m pretty stoked about this. There’s a new growth point as well☺️ I owe it all to my new cabinet and grow light, I’m sure.

I’ve had this Hoya for nearly two months, it’s been under a grow light the whole time, and I have 0 growth. I ordered this as a cutting and the one branch it has shriveled at the tip and I’m wondering if I need to trim in order to stimulate growth. New to Hoyas so I appreciate any help.

Hoya jumped ship while no one was in the room. She was letting me know her roots are dead. Chopped the root ball and bottom two leaves off and put in perilite to reroot.

Hi Hoya community I need to pick your brains. Is it normal for a Hoya to throw its flower pods from the first peduncle? I had a sigillatus blossom but this morning it has tossed all pods o the ground. Why? Did I move it too much when watering? Did I water too much? Or too little? She lives in my office where the temp is constant 75-82 with humidity range of 45-70. I think it’s normal but need some reassurance. Thanks!

My obovata looks so good but roots out. I am replacing soil but my inclination is to leave is same pot. Opinions?

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if you seasoned Hoya lovers can answer what type of Hoya this is? I received 2cuttings in a plant trade & they’d been rooting, I’ve just potted them up (hence the damp soil ) 😂 The one had 2 leaves, now 3 so I can only assume it’s going ok.. seems to be growing steadily 🤷🏻‍♀️ Any advice will be much appreciated Thank you 😊

I bought this obovata last winter while all the rains were drenching us here in Southern California. It was a savior mission, as this poor thing was drenched and rotting at an outdoor nursery. She’s finally decided that she’s safe and sound here, so she’s throwing me her first peduncle. I gotta big love for this common beauty💚 Do you have an Obovata? Show me!🫶🏻

Got this Hoya Globulosa as a fresh cutting, rooted it and then potted it up. So pleased with these roots it is developing in the substrate.

Look what I got for my birthday🎈🎈 IKEA Milsbo tall.. Now I get to modify it into a greenhouse and fill it with more Hoya! If any of you have this cabinet, I’d love to hear any tips, tricks, recommendations! I plan on getting a couple Spider Farmer SF300 LED’s. This will be a slow going project but I look forward to every step, especially filling it.

My first peduncle! A welcome surprise after being out for the count all week with covid. I avoided getting covid all these years, but it finally caught up with me. I’m hoping so see a flower soon now that I’m on the mend ☺️ It’s an H. retusa incase you’re curious

New leaf on my Hoya Megalaster. This plant put out such long vines that I have wrapped around and around the trellis before it decided it was safe to put out a new leaf. Beautiful leaf.

Hoya Louise has bloomed so many times this year. This peduncle first flowered May 2023. Currently 3 peduncles in bloom at the same time.

Interesting roots. These are from a fishtail Hoya that I got as a fresh cutting. Roots are developing nicely.

Does anyone have experience shopping online with The Nursery Project USA? They have a storefront in Orlando. They are Athinaplantshop on ETSY. I’m attracted to their larger size hoyas and their holiday sale. 🪴

Hoya Iris Marie turned out to be an easy care hoya for me. They are not dramatic. They don’t drop leaves if I water a little late. One lost two growth points on arrival due to shipping stress. They all doubled in height since the end of summer when I bought them. They all put out new growth points and the cutest little leaves.
