Picked up this beauty this weekend 🤩 I was told it’s a Carnosa but I’ve never seen one with such pink! Is it truly a Carnosa?

Do all Krimson Queens have pink? Because this app told me two others I have are also Krimson Queens but they’re just green and white.

The stems should be brownish pink! Also, as they grow, they'll have variable amounts of pink in their leaves.

It’s beautiful! This variety needs bright indirect light.

I have all my Hoyas under a grow light hoping to encourage blooms. Is that a bad idea?

I haven’t gotten any to bloom under a grow light. But, I don’t have the big expensive grow lights. I got 9 varieties to bloom this summer after putting them outside facing northeast. They get 4 hours of direct morning sun until about 10 am and get 60% relative humidity. You can duplicate this in a plant cabinet with a humidifier.

My hoya Krimson Queen came with one peduncle last year. It bloomed only after putting it outside in rising sun in last month. It was in a west facing location last summer getting late afternoon sun. No blooms at that time.
